Today, the Moscow’s investment and building system, unlike its predecessor, works in the framework of market economy and unites all the building and construction organisations of the city into a vertical chain of command consisted of enterprises and organisations competing among themselves and thus represents the building sector of the city. All these enterprises and organisations are of a different status and include the government-owned agencies, joint stock companies, small and medium-sized businesses.
